PLANE PILOT

Commercial pilots who primarily work for airlines that transport passengers and cargo on a fixed schedule. Commercial pilots are involved in unscheduled flight activities, such as aerial application, charter flights, aerial photography, and aerial tours.
To obtain a commercial pilot's license, 250 hours of flight time - in addition to 1,500 hours of flight time for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate - is required. Flight training can be completed through degree programs or through flying schools approved by the FAA.

PLANE HOST/HOSTESS

The main duty of an air hostess is to ensure the comfort and safety of a plane's passengers. Air hostesses review emergency and safety procedures prior to take-off, which includes demonstrating the use of any equipment. They also fill passenger requests, serve food and beverages, and tend to sick passengers, if needed.
  • Mastery in spoken English and other foreign languages as required.

  • 10+2 with degree in hospitality, or other graduate degree.
